What parents are saying
Zoa has been a great computer science tutor for my kids, ranging in age from middle school through high school, and has even tutored a friend's son in a college course. She teaches the kids engagingly and is flexible enough to teach in multiple coding languages. She teaches them through coding projects that interest each individual student, often allowing the students to choose their own projects, keeping them engaged in learning. I highly recommend her.
Zoa is an exceptional tutor: mature, reliable, serious about her work, and at the same time always smiling, kind, polite, and fun. Zoa worked with my daughter for 2 hours each day for about two weeks. She kept my daughter interested, motivated, and focused during lessons. My daughter made tremendous progress, completed all of her missing work, and performed very well on her final exam, earning an 85% (when she was previously on track to fail the course). We would absolutely recommend Zoa to any family looking for a dedicated, talented, and caring math tutor.
Zoa was extremely personable, knowledgeable and caring. She truly did a remarkable job. She was able to explain complex topics in a clear and understandable way and to guide through the necessary steps to gain a full understanding.

Hi Maya! In Nina's lesson today, we covered different loops in preparation for her unit test.
- We talked about when you should use a for loop vs. a while loop and the appropriate syntax for each.
- She practiced five different problems.
- For homework, she should work on the three extra exercises that I assigned.
